  • During the process of collation, pagination and indexing our case handlers are able to absorb themselves in your client's medical records. It is at this time we begin to notice any missing notes. We make contemporaneous notes as we work. With that in mind we develop an audit trail associated with your commission. From the beginning we are focusing on the requirements laid down in your "Letter of Instruction".

Once Smedico Legal receives the medical records the clock starts. Within 10 - 21 days you will have sorted, paginated and indexed records presented in a logical format that can be understood by anyone on your safeguarding team. You will keep the originals and whilst in our possession the copy records will be handled according to the Data Protection Act 1998. Confidentiality and information security has the highest priority at Smedico Legal.
